Alabaster1

Alabaster Box is the 1999 album by award winning gospel artist CeCe Winans. This was the first album on Winans' own label, Wellspring Gospel (later renamed Puresprings Gospel). Winans described the album as a "experimental" album for the label before any new artists were signed. Despite the mistakes made with the album, it did very well on the charts and included a duet with Take 6. In comparison to Winans' past albums, this one takes more of a worship flair with a few R&B tracks (such as "Without Love"). Gospel artist Fred Hammond also took a production turn on the album.
